In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host South Medford Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Caldera .
The Panthers (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against South Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Axe come into the 6A Southwest challenge with a 19-2 record. In their last challenge, South Eugene lost by South Salem (Salem, OR), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the play the Crook County Cowboys (Prineville, OR) in a 4A Tri-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Caldera will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Corvallis (Corvallis, OR).
