With the win, Carterville advances its record to 18-14 on the season. The Lions travel to Richland County (Olney, IL) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 4-17. Richland County lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Newton (Newton, IL)

The Trojans now sport a 5-25 record. They play next when they host Mahomet-Seymour for a Apollo outing on Tuesday, October 21. Charleston will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 29-4.
