The Churchill Lancers volleyball squad (Eugene, OR), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR)

With the win, Marshfield improves its record to 11-8 on the season. The Pirates host Junction City (Junction City, OR) to encounter the Tigers in a 4A Sky Em battle on Thursday, October 23. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 10-10.

The Lancers now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a 5A Midwestern battle on Tuesday, October 21. Churchill will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 10-10.
