Connecticut High School Volleyball - Holy Cross over Crosby

Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT) and the visiting Crosby Bulldogs (Waterbury, CT), observed Holy Cross's volleyball team top Crosby by a count of 3-0.

With the win, Holy Cross improves its record to 13-5 on the season. The Crusaders host Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT) to encounter the Hawks in a Naugatuck Valley battle on Tuesday, October 21. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 18-5. Woodland Regional won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Watertown (Watertown, CT)

The Bulldogs now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Derby for a Naugatuck Valley contest on Tuesday, October 21. Crosby will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-12.
