The Doyle Tigers topped the host Landry Buccaneers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Tigers now have a 19-7 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Doyle will play a team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Landry drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Young Audiences (Gretna, LA) to confront the Yacs in a Division III District 9 game on Tuesday, October 21. The Yacs go into the game with a record of 14-7. Young Audiences lost 3-0 in their recent league game against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA)
