In Saturday's non-league bout, the Faith Longhorns (Faith, SD) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD), by a margin of 2-0.
The Longhorns now possess a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Timber Lake for a B Region 8 bout on Tuesday, October 21. Faith will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 7-20.
The Coyotes (13-12) will now prepare for their match against Colome (Colome, SD). The Cowboys enter the non-league match with a 1-21 record. In their last match, Colome was outscored by Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD), 2-0, in a non-league match.
