The Friona Chieftans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Lubbock Titans Titans to 0 in the Chieftans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Chieftans now have a 21-17 record. They play next when they host Dimmitt for a 3A Region I District 1 outing on Tuesday, October 21.
With the loss, Lubbock Titans drops to 12-13 on the campaign. The Titans host Accelerate Christian (Amarillo, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 21. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 3-3.
