The Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Geneseo Maple Leafs to 1 in the Grey Ghosts non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Grey Ghosts now have a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richwoods for a non-league game on Monday, October 20. Illinois Valley Central will play a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Knights record now stands at 9-14.

With the loss, Geneseo drops to 16-10 on the campaign. The Maple leafs travel to Galesburg (Galesburg, IL) to play the Silver Streaks in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. The Silver Streaks come into the outing with a record of 12-15. Galesburg won 2-0 in their recent league game against Sterling (Sterling, IL)
