The Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) volleyball overcame the host John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league match.

Next up, the Cubs encounter the Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 18. Mt. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 31-3 season record. The Hawks go into the battle with a 25-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA).
