The Pine Ridge Thorpes volleyball team (Pine Ridge, SD), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD)

The Coyotes (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Colome (Colome, SD). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 1-21 record. In their last battle, Colome dropped by Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Thorpes now own a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Underwood for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. Pine Ridge will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Newell (Newell, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 7-18.
