In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Kaneland Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Rockford Auburn Knights.
The Knights (11-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-16 record. In their last challenge, Grant Community beat Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights play the Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 game, on Tuesday, October 21. Rockford Auburn will attempt to advance on its 6-18 season record. The Pretzels go into the game with a 9-20 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
