Colorado High School Volleyball - Merino tips Lamar

October 18, 2025: Lamar, CO 81052

The Merino Rams volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Lamar Thunder to 1 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.

Next up, the Rams battle the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 18. Merino will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Mean Moose enter the match with a 17-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO).

With the loss, Lamar drops to 12-7 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Centauri (La Jara, CO) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Centauri lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO)
