In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Limestone Rockets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Richwoods Knights.
The Rockets (31-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Maple Leafs come into the non-league challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Geneseo beat Moline (Moline, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 18. Richwoods will attempt to advance on its 9-16 season record. The Grey Ghosts go into the test with a 19-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL).
