The Renaissance Phoenix volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Milan Big Reds to 0 in the Phoenix non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Phoenix now have a 27-4 record. They play next when they travel to Plainwell for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Renaissance will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Niles (Niles, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 20-11.

The Big Reds (15-7) will now prepare for their game against Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 19-4 record. In their last game, Lansing Catholic gained a win over Olivet (Olivet, MI), 3-1, in a league game.
