In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Newark Charter School Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Wilmington Friends Quakers.
The Patriots (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE). The Auks go into the Diamond State test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Archmere Academy achieved victory over MOT Charter (Middletown, DE), 3-1, in a league test.
The Quakers now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tower Hill for a Independent - DISC test on Friday, October 24.
