The Sunset Apollos volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Newberg Tigers to 0 in the Apollos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Apollos now sport a 13-15 record. They take the field next when they host Beaverton for a non-league game on Saturday, October 18. Sunset will confront a Beavers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Beavers record now stands at 7-13.

The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Century (Hillsboro, OR). The Jaguars enter the 6A Pacific game with a 8-15 record. In their last outing, Century was topped by Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR), 3-1, in a league outing.
