The Tintic Miners (Eureka, UT) volleyball knocked off the visiting Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Miners now possess a 18-9 record.
With the loss, Piute falls to 11-14 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Tabiona (Tabiona, UT) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, October 18. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 12-11. Tabiona won 3-1 in their recent league match against Tintic (Eureka, UT)
