The Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to McMichael for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 21. Polk County will clash with a Phoenix team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 21-10.

With the loss, Wheatmore drops to 9-15 on the campaign.
