The Del Norte Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Highland Hornets to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Knights now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bernalillo for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 25. Del Norte will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.
The Hornets (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Valencia held off Grants (Grants, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
