The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) and the visiting Hartford Public Owls (Hartford, CT), saw Northwest Catholic's volleyball squad beat Hartford Public by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Northwest Catholic upgrades its record to 2-16 on the year. The Lions host Southington (Southington, CT) to meet the Blue Knights in a Central Connecticut - West game on Monday, October 24. The Blue Knights enter the game with a record of 21-6. Southington won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT)

The Owls (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Terriers enter the Central Connecticut - North game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Rocky Hill dropped by Granby Memorial (Granby, CT), 3-1, in a non-league game.
