Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview over Whitmer

The Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) volleyball overcame the visiting Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Northview betters its record to 18-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, October 24. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 10-13. Notre Dame Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Waite (Toledo, OH)

SYLVANIA - In the first round of the OHSAA Tournament, Northview defeated Whitmer in straight sets, 25-21, 25-20, 25-16 to move to 18-5 overall and advance to the District Semifinals at Lake High School.
Leading for Northview was junior setter/opposite, Natalie Kerchevall, with a double-double 11 kills, hitting .250, 10 digs and 7 aces, and senior outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with 11 kills, hitting .409 and chipping in 9 digs. Junior middle blocker, Claire Smith added 5 kills, hitting .444, and 4 blocks and junior setter, Hannah Schoen with 5 kills, hitting .625. Junior libero, Jordyn Pakulski, added 9 digs for the Wildcats.
