North Carolina High School Football - Ledford victorious over Asheboro

October 19, 2023: Asheboro, NC 27203

The Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) football overcame the host Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), 48-27 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout, on Friday, October 27. Ledford will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Black Knights enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 28-20 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).

Coming up next, the Blue Comets play the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A battle, on Friday, October 27. Asheboro will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Timberwolves enter the battle with a 3-6 record after their 49-7 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
