New Mexico High School Football - Del Norte routed by Manzano

In Thursday's league game, the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) football team smashed the visiting Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 63-8.

The Monarchs (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Albuquerque overwhelmed Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 28-12, in a league game.

The Knights now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Alamos for a 5A District 2/6 game on Friday, October 27. Del Norte will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 26-23 league loss to Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 7-2.
