In Thursday's league match, the visiting Stanfield Tigers football squad scored a good 54-26 victory over the Grant Union Prospectors.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a 2A Special District 4 (9 Man) match, on Friday, October 27. Stanfield will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 68-18 league win over Riverside/Ione (Boardman, OR).
The Prospectors (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Glide (Glide, OR). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Glide ran past Reedsport (Reedsport, OR), 19-0, in a league match.
