The Sheffield Knights football squad scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Lakeland Preparatory Lions to 13 in the Knights league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wooddale for a 3A Region 8 battle on Thursday, October 26. Sheffield will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 40-14 league loss to Memphis East (Memphis, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-8.

Coming up next, the Lions play the Hamilton Wildcats (Memphis, TN) in a 3A Region 8 battle, on Thursday, October 26. Lakeland Preparatory will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 36-0 league win over Douglass (Memphis, TN).
