The Montgomery Central Timberwolves football team (Troy, NC), was ripped 49-7 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC)
The Grizzlies (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans come into the Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Central Davidson trounced North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 28-20, in a league challenge.
The Timberwolves now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Asheboro for a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge on Friday, October 27. Montgomery Central will meet a Blue Comets team coming off a 48-27 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 1-8.
