In Thursday's non-league match, the host Cox Mill Chargers football squad scored a close 20-14 victory over the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 26. Cox Mill will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record.
The Ragin' Bulls (4-3) will now prepare for their match against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Wolverines enter the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, West Cabarrus was nudged by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 33-14, in a non-league match.
