The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), saw St. Pius X's volleyball squad nip Cibola by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Sartans travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 24. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 5-7.

The Cougars now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Del Norte for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 21. Cibola will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 3-9.
