The St. John's Cadets soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights to 1 in the Cadets league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Cadets face the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) contest, on Tuesday, October 24. St. John's will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD).
The Knights now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Carroll for a Washington Catholic (WCAC) contest on Tuesday, October 24. Bishop O'Connell will face a Lions team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Washington Christian Academy (Olney, MD). The Lions record now stands at 2-13.
