The Cape May County Tech Hawks (Cape May Court House, NJ) soccer nudged the host Cumberland Christian Crusaders (Vineland, NJ), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the win, Cape May County Tech moves its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Hawks host Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ) to battle the Tigers in a Cape/Atlantic - National bout on Friday, October 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-13.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Calvary Academy Warrior (Lakewood, NJ) in a Tri-State Christian bout, on Friday, October 20. Cumberland Christian will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Warrior go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ).
