In Thursday's league battle, the host DeMatha Stags soccer squad scored a close 3-0 win over the St. Mary's Ryken Knights.
The Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets go into the Washington Catholic (WCAC) battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, St. John's nipped Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 2-1, in a league battle.
