In Thursday's league battle, the host Empower College Prep Wolf soccer squad scored a close 7-0 win over the West Phoenix Eagles.
The Wolf (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Maricopa Institute of Technology (Phoenix, AZ). The go into the CAA D2 Mountain battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Maricopa Institute of Technology was overwhelmed by Glenview College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage Academy Gateway (Queen Creek, AZ). The Heroes go into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record.
