The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), saw Garinger's soccer squad beat North Mecklenburg by a margin of 4-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Providence for a Southwestern 4A test on Tuesday, October 24. Garinger will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, North Mecklenburg drops to 12-8 on the season. The Vikings host Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to meet the Titans in a Queen City 3A/4A test on Monday, October 23. The Titans come into the test with a record of 16-2. Hopewell won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC)
