Georgia High School Softball - Pope bounces Apalachee

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) and the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), witnessed Pope's softball squad prevail over Apalachee by a count of 9-0.
The Greyhounds now sport a 29-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Effingham for a non-league match on Wednesday, October 25. Pope will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 29-4.
With the loss, Apalachee moves to 25-8 on the season.
