In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Franklin Quakers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Highline Pirates.
The Quakers (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA). The Seahawks come into the 3A Metro battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Chief Sealth defeated Cleveland (Seattle, WA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Foster Bulldogs (Tukwila, WA) in a 2A KingCo battle, on Tuesday, October 24. Highline will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Issaquah, WA).
