The Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) volleyball nudged the host Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets (Fergus Falls, MN), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lake of the Woods betters its record to 18-9 on the year. The Bears host Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (Newfolden, MN) to face the Northern Freeze in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 26. The Northern Freeze go into the outing with a record of 13-12. Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Sacred Heart (East Grand Forks, MN)
