In Thursday's non-league contest, the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Tigers face the Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County I contest, on Monday, October 23. Kingston will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Bushmen go into the contest with a 19-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Valley Central (Montgomery, NY).
With the loss, Saugerties moves to 2-11 on the year. The Sawyers travel to Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY) to play the Spartans in a MHAL bout on Monday, October 23. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-2.
