In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Smyrna Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lake Forest Spartans.
The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE). The Hillers come into the non-league battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Tower Hill achieved victory over Tatnall (Wilmington, DE), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Early College Hornets (Dover, DE) in a Henlopen South battle, on Wednesday, October 25. Lake Forest will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record.
