The Ledyard Colonels held off the host New London Whalers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Colonels now have a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norwich RVT for a non-league test on Monday, October 23. Ledyard will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 6-10.
The Whalers (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets enter the Eastern Connecticut - Small test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Windham was nudged by Montville (Oakdale, CT), 3-1, in a league test.
