The Powers Catholic Chargers volleyball squad scored 2 points and held the host New Lothrop Hornets to 1 in the Chargers non-league win on Thursday.
With the win, Powers Catholic upgrades its record to 6-21 on the year. The Chargers travel to Beaverton (Beaverton, MI) to face the Beavers in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 19. The Beavers go into the outing with a record of 8-6.
The Hornets now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Glenn for a non-league outing on Monday, October 23. New Lothrop will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-7.
