The Calvert Trojans football squad scored 78 points and limited the visiting Faith West Academy Eagles to 58 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Buckholts for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region IV District 16 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 25. Calvert will meet a Badgers squad coming off a 62-12 non-league win over McLennan County Challenge Academy (Waco, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Faith West Academy drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Allen Academy (Bryan, TX) to meet the Rams in a TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 5 (6 Man) test on Saturday, October 26. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-3. Allen Academy won 91-42 in their recent non-league test against Northland Christian (Houston, TX)
