The Sandy Creek Comets (Sandy Creek, NY) football trounced the host Hannibal Warriors (Hannibal, NY), 53-3 in Saturday's league outing.

The Comets now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cato-Meridian for a Section 3 D - North West outing on Thursday, October 24. Sandy Creek will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 52-20 league win over Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Hannibal drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Herkimer (Herkimer, NY) to clash with the Magicians in a non-league outing on Friday, October 25.
