The Heritage Academy Gateway Heroes edged the visiting Southwest Leadership Academy Rams football team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Heroes face the AZ Compass Prep Dragons (Chandler, AZ) in a challenge, on Friday, October 25. Heritage Academy Gateway will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 50-12 league win over Maricopa Institute of Technology (Phoenix, AZ).
The Rams (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Imagine Prep Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ). The Eagles enter the Canyon II (8 Man) challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Imagine Prep Coolidge was edged by Skyline Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 18-8, in a league challenge.
