New Jersey High School Football - High Point tops Sussex County Tech

October 19, 2024: Sparta, NJ 07871

The High Point Wildcats football squad scored 47 points and limited the host Sussex County Tech to 22 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Whippany Park for a non-league test on Friday, October 25. High Point will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 29-0 non-league win over Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Sussex County Tech drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The travel to Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ) to meet the Golden Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, October 25. The Golden Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Pequannock lost 21-14 in their recent league test against Madison (Madison, NJ)
