New York High School Football - Walter Panas tops Peekskill

October 19, 2024: Peekskill, NY 10566

The Walter Panas Panthers football squad scored 17 points and limited the host Peekskill Red Devils to 8 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Port Chester for a Section 1 Hudson Valley test on Saturday, October 26. Walter Panas will meet a Rams squad coming off a 34-6 league loss to Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY). The Rams record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Peekskill drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Red devils host Greeley (Chappaqua, NY) to meet the Quakers in a Section 1 Hudson Valley test on Friday, October 25. The Quakers go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Greeley won 43-12 in their recent league battle against Albertus Magnus (Bardonia, NY)
