In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Banning Lewis Academy Stallions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Coronado Cougars.

The Stallions (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Palmer Ridge edged Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Canon City (Canon City, CO).
