The Mavericks now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kellenberg Memorial for a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. Moore Catholic will meet a Firebirds squad coming off a 26-14 non-league loss to Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, St. John the Baptist drops to 2-5 on the campaign.
