The Stevenson Patriots football squad scored 39 points and limited the host Zion-Benton Zee-Bees to 16 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. Stevenson will meet a Bears squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Bears record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Zion-Benton drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Zee-bees travel to Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-5. Waukegan lost 36-30 in their recent non-league test against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL)
