The Gideon Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Poplar Bluff Mules to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 19. Gideon will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Poplar Bluff drops to 0-8 on the campaign.
