The Avon Lake Shoremen soccer squad scored 13 points and held the visiting Garfield Heights Bulldogs to 0 in the Shoremen non-league victory on Saturday.

The Shoremen now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Lake for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 24. Avon Lake will play a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Springfield (Akron, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Garfield Heights moves to 1-11 on the year.
